FAQ
How do I choose the right pixel pitch for a fixed LED screen?
The right pitch comes down to your wall size and viewing distance. Indoor walls viewed at close range typically use P0.9–P3.9; outdoor walls viewed from further away use P2.9–P10. Send us your wall dimensions, application and viewing distance and we return a pixel-pitch recommendation with a firm quote. A quick rule of thumb: the minimum comfortable viewing distance in metres roughly equals the pixel pitch in millimetres — a P2.5 wall looks sharp from about 2.5 m.
What is the difference between indoor and outdoor fixed LED displays?
Indoor fixed LED runs at 600–1,200 nits with fine pixel pitch for close viewing. Outdoor fixed LED delivers 4,500–10,000 nits for direct sunlight, with IP65 front and rear protection against dust and rain, plus auto-brightness and energy-saving modes for 24/7 operation.
What refresh rate should I require?
For flicker-free viewing and clean results on camera, specify a refresh rate of at least 3,840 Hz — the accepted standard for broadcast and events. All our walls ship at 3,840–7,680 Hz.
What is the lifespan of an LED display?
LED lamps are rated for roughly 100,000 hours to half brightness — more than 10 years of typical operation. Power supplies and receiving cards are standard serviceable parts, and with front-service modules the wall can be maintained for its whole life without dismantling.
